My dream team…

Sara, Mexico

Everyone this is Sara, I met my dear friend in Sayulita when I relocated last year. She has been such a godsend and I've loved training her. She's helped me so much by making quite a few of the earring charms and the stacking sets that were so popular earlier this year.

If you come to visit Sayulita (please do it's truly magical!) then Sara is normally by my side or running our market stall herself.

She's now no longer just helping me with my pieces but has also started her own business too! Please give her a follow to support her new journey - @mysticgypsyjewels

Everyone meet Sarah (yes very similar names!)

I met Sarah years ago and I remember her saying to me "Kate, if you ever get to a point where you need help, please remember me, I would love to do what you do"

I remember laughing at the time, it felt so far off from where I was. Soul & Sapphire was only a side hustle back then when I was also working multiple jobs just to live.

Well, this year, when I was on a roadtrip with my partner driving through the Mexican landscape brainstorming how I can sustain my growing business. Arturo asked if there was anyone in England that I knew who could help me make some of my pieces and that conversation popped into my head. 4 years later!

So fast forward to July, working in such an idyllic setting and training Sarah to make her very first rings! And I could not be prouder of how she did and how far I have come to be in this position to teach.

Finally... we have someone that has helped me from the very beginning. She has been my biggest supporter and when I decided to move to Mexico she asked what she can do to help make this move as easy as possible to me.

Introducing my mamma...

Oh what would I do without her! After creating my jewels in Mexico each month, I send everything together via DHL to my mum. This method has been the safest, quickest and easiest we can find arriving only 4 days after I've sent it. She then unpacks everything, polishes and repacks for you individually to be sent around the world.

Each parcel has been lovingly packed by my mum and its kept us so close while being on the opposite side of the world to each other. The rose petals were her touch btw :)

She also makes all the jewellery bags from recycled saris that we source so without her, you wouldn't receive your beautiful parcels.
